TRANSFORMING VISION INTO REALITY.
My personal specialty is lifting organizations into high performance organizations taking (new) projects and business initiatives from the ground and run them successfully. As a c-level advisor I help to transform vision into reality.
How? By thoroughly analyzing the situation, taking necessary strategic and communicative measurements, enhancing human growth and 'charging' leadership. Alignment, focus and growth will follow.
I deliver guaranteed results.
Let's
change 'status quo'
into
growth delivery
together:
By pushing the right buttons at the right time.
Simplicity, communication and timing will be the power of our succes.
My career has mainly been shaped by some not so obvious decisions, by entrepreneurs and CEO's with whom I worked with and by a positive, creative and open mindset always striving for new challenges.
As an interim advisor and director I work on behalve of your results. Always keeping the goals and the internal or external customer(s) in mind..
The red line in my career:
I possess a proven track record by my own unique way of working.
But there is more. As an interim director, I orchestrate all your organizational elements that are needed for success representing the board of directors or your organization and it's stakeholders.
And as partner director of QMBA leadership company with a 40 year long history of experience, I bring additional value to organizations - which I call Strategy+.
At QMBA we offer focused and customized training programs for leaders and your organization on the three spheres of excellence:
I am a seasoned specialist on innovation and at QMBA - Q management Business Academy - we run certified innovation programs.
But what is innovation? Innovation can be technology. But in most cases,
innovation goes beyond. Innovation is
changing the way you see things and how to approach the market or serve your clients in order to
distinguish yourself
as an organization.
I combine
experience with proven methods on innovation and (market) strategy,
tailored to your needs, challenges and goals as
every organization is different.
It all started back in 1992 with a crazy idea: studying Japanese. Unlike other students who studied Japanese because they just loved the language or the country, I had a vision for myself: As Japan was the number one world economy during the 80's and the mid 90's, I foresaw lots of career opportunities.
My vision to start this study was to help Dutch companies to start a business in Japan and vice versa. After having lived one year in Japan and finishing his study, I started off in a Japanese Multinational as a buyer, working closely with the Japanese factories. But after this first job things started to run differently.
After four years, I changed to doing exactly the opposite: sales, marketing and communications, in a medium sized company of about 400 employees- supporting the CEO/major shareholder and the operational & commercial director. As their right hand I was directly involved in all their ideas and growth plans.
Here I learned first hand how to act and think like an entrepeneur; how to run a company in all its facets. This was the kick start of everything that came after in my career.
Soon I was not only leading in all sales of large roll out projects within the telecom & internet industry, but I also lead the set-up phases of all of my projects working closely with my clients and partners delivering all sorts of value adding services.
As the company grew and markets changed, I became responsible setting up several new departments like a customer service center and a logistic center, to even setting up a complete new business and company. After that I never stopped exploring new markets, new opportunities, building markets, building companies and running great projects within commercial companies, multinationals as well as for government and for my own companies.
I have a
love for the bass guitar as well as the double bass.
Where the piano is the mother of the instruments, the
bass is the body
of every music band or orchestra.
It is the invisible force that lets the whole band shine. The bass is the musical director; the rhythmic driving force; the energy charger - steering from the background, orchestrating direction and intensity.
For me at least, the bass is the basis from which music evolves. It has it's own specific personality but always operating in harmony with others to be successful. It reflects who I am and how I work.
